The Burlington Welsh Ladies Chorus (BWLC) is a welcoming group of women
who are passionate about bringing the community together through music and song. Furthermore, we foster creativity, stimulate culture, and encourage social cohesion by inviting all women of the community in learning songs and singing in different languages without songbooks, as is Welsh Tradition, to entertain the public.
The BWLC sing a repertoire ranging from hymns, opera choruses, spirituals, pop music and of course, Welsh and Welsh inspired songs under the direction of Janice Beninger and accompanied by Christopher Hunt. Although this group is inspired by traditional Welsh music and songs, it is not a requirement to be Welsh to join this group. BWLC welcomes all who are interested in joining.
